The GP Run/Walk Club meets once a month to socialize, to discuss upcoming events, and to discuss ideas for the club in general. The next meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday November 1 at Tito’s Bistro (10006 101 Ave, across the street from the Sawmill Restaurant) at 7 pm.
Attendance is open to all members – we would love to see you there!
Here’s a list of the executive positions we are looking to fill. If you’re interested in any of these roles, please attend our next meeting on November 3.
Recorder – attend the meetings and record the minutes, writes and distributes the newsletters/emails
Social Committee – organizes refreshments and/or fun events
Media Liaison – provides media with event information and results
Logistics Coordinator – provides maps with distances
Race Directors – various members for various races/events
Members at Large – members wanting a voice regarding club activities without holding a position
A big thanks to all who attended our club meeting last night! You all helped breathe new life into the club and we’re so excited to see what the next year will bring.
We are still on the lookout for executive members, ideas, and feedback.
