The Grande Prairie Run/Walk Club will no longer organize the Press Run due to lack of volunteers and limited participation. We have decided to concentrate our efforts on the Brian Harms Memorial Race (Sunday, May 13, 2018)
We want to thank the Grande Prairie Daily Herald Tribune for 40 years of support.
We are looking for feedback from the running and walking community in Grande Prairie for the direction the club should be taking in 2018. Please take a few minutes to complete our survey.
2/14 Challenge & Triple Crown
This year, we continued our tradition of the 2/14 challenge (a draw involving participants in the Brian Harms Race and the Press Run) and selected Kelsey Biggs! She has won $214 to use at any of our membership sponsors (Ernie’s; Walk, Run & More; Intersport).
This year’s Triple Crown (Brian Harms Race, Press Run, Roots & Ruts) went to Warren Magrum who won a Garmin Forerunner 35 from Walk, Run & More.
Previously known as the 2/14 challenge – Name changed (this year) on the account the races are not 14 days apart and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Brian Harms Race and the DHT Press Run/Walk.
Qualified runners/walkers completed the Brian Harms Memorial Race on May 8, 2016
and the DHT Press Run/Walk on May 28, 2016
Here are the winners! (winners have been contacted – email us if you haven’t heard from us – email@example.com)
$500 Male & Female 18+: Brady Masik and Angie Stockley
$250 Male & Female 13-17: Colby Stang and Makayla Hughes

We have two groups involved in the DHT Press Run/Walk this year, KidSport and the Army Cadets.
As a club we feel that these two groups provide valuable programs that allow the youth in our community to live an active and healthy lifestyle. We are looking for sponsorship for this event and are hoping that you will partner with us for this year’s race.

Thank you for your support!
Registration is now up and ready for our two spring races. If you complete both races, you will be entered to win some amazing prizes in our 30/40 Anniversary Challenge.
